Penny McCann has been Director of SAW Video Media Art Centre since 2004. In recognition of her contribution to the arts, in 2007 Penny was awarded the Victor Tolgesy Award for Achievement in the Arts and in 2014, was awarded the Artist-run Centres and Collectives of Ontario (ARCCO) Achievement Award. A veteran grantwriter, in the last two years Penny has successfully increased SAW Video’s operational funding, as well as earning for the centre two back-to-back Ontario Trillium Foundation grants. In 2018, Penny oversaw the fulfillment of a long-awaited goal - the creation of a new facility for SAW Video as part of the Arts Court Redevelopment project. With these significant tasks accomplished, Penny recently announced her departure from SAW Video at the end of May in order to spend more time with her media art practice.

Victoria Steele is Executive Director of AOE Arts Council and has over 35 years’ experience managing arts organizations at the local and national level, including 19 years at the National Arts Centre. Ms. Steele is also an arts management consultant and part-time arts management professor at University of Ottawa and Queens University
