About this event
The Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants Program, offered by Douglas College, assists internationally trained professionals navigate the regulatory requirements for their professions.
Douglas College Career Paths gives you:
- A designated Career Coach to help you navigate the regulatory requirements for your profession
- Assistance with your job search and connecting to employers and professionals in your field
- Workshops, tips, strategies and resources to help pass licensing exams
- Funding towards your professional designation or short-term training
Douglas College offers Career paths to professionals from these occupations who live in any B.C. community:
- Nurses
- Physicians
- Sonographers
- HealthCare Assistants
- University Professors and Lecturers
- College and Vocational Instructors
- Social and Community Service Workers
- Early Childhood Educators or Assistants
- Professionals from other industries and occupations who reside in: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows
