Career Recharge: Creating Safe & Inclusive Workplaces image

As part of Career Recharge’s Diversity & Inclusion series, this workshop explores the practice behind power and privilege in the workplace and its role in creating a safer work environment.

Facilitator Rema Tavares, Seneca’s Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, will explore how to create safer and stronger workplaces through actionable tools, resources, and education.

About the Facilitator:

Rema Tavares is the Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at Seneca. She has worked in this field for more than 10 years and has been invited to speak at Ontario Public Services, CBC Radio Metro Morning, CTV Canada AM, CBC News The National, the University of Toronto, York University Centre for Human Rights, Humber College and more about issues surrounding critical race theory and intersectionality.

Career Recharge is pleased to offer a digital certificate of completion for individuals who attend all five virtual workshops in our Diversity & Inclusion series. Note: You must log into all workshops using the same email address in order to track participation. Certificates will be distributed in May.
