About this event
Join Career Recharge as we unpack the concept of intersectionality – what it means to have intersecting identities and the experiences individuals and organizations face with compounding marginalization.
In this session, we will:
- define identity, intersectionality, power and advantages
- help you identify your own intersecting identities and how those identities manifest in your work
- explore how to examine problems in the workplace through an intersectional lens
This session is led by Cory Coletta, Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at Seneca. Together, we will explore how to examine workplace processes, practices, policies, structures and even products using a lens of intersectionality. This is the third workshop in our Diversity & Inclusion: Building Stronger Workplaces series.
