Event Details

Are you considering a non-academic career and do you wonder about some of the options available?  Are you curious about how to pursue professional excellence?

The CIHR Training Program in Regenerative Medicine along with the Office of Research Trainees at the University Health Network presents an industry mixer highlighting professionals who will share their career narratives and answer questions.  These are based on the non-academic career trajectory patterns of graduate students.

The purpose of this mixer is to create an environment for graduate trainees from the University of Toronto and University Health Network to network with industry professionals. This is a great opportunity to share internship or career opportunities and give advice to help students successfully transition into industry.

The panel of speakers consist of:

Ann McPherson
Manager, Scientific Content and Business Strategies, SNELL Medical Communication Inc.

Sam Dougaparsad
Clinical Specialist, Affymetrix, Inc.

Rachel Reeve
Senior Specialist, Research Programs, Weston Brain Institute

Natalie Meyer
