Carefor Pembroke-Renfrew County is hosting our first ever Safe at Home No Show Gala to raise money to help ensure vulnerable seniors are able to have a place to live.

Carefor Civic Complex and Carefor Mackay Centre offer affordable living for local seniors who might not have another option. As a not-for-profit, Carefor’s goal is to be ensure a safe and warm home for the frail elderly. Easily the most affordable retirement residence in the Ottawa Valley, Civic and Mackay need donor support to help to stay that way, as it’s through donor support that we are able to keep costs to our residents to a bear minimum.

Our Safe at Home No Show Gala will be a non-event, with no lavish decorations or expensive entertainment. It will simply be a chance for you and a loved one to stay safe in the comfort of your own home while enjoying some of the Ottawa Valley’s best food knowing you’re helping frail and low-income seniors have a home and a family through the holidays and beyond.

Tickets* are $100 which includes:

One charcuterie plate for two from His & Hers Gourmet Grazing

One bottle of wine from Reif Estates Winery

Decadent desserts for two from Wilkie’s Bakery

*We will follow up after order to confirm delivery.

Donors will receive a tax receipt for approximately half of the cost of the ticket.
