Carefor’s Feast of Fields is about more than just food
The funds raised during this event will go to support programs that aid Caregivers across Ottawa. Few have endured more during COVID than our community’s Caregivers, and your ticket price will go to making sure they get the home health care and dementia support programs they need to keep on giving.
Carefor Health & Community Services (formerly Victorian Order of Nurses) is Ontario’s largest and oldest home healthcare and community support charity. As a charity, Carefor relies on the generosity of people like you to offer high-quality services to those in need. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the elderly population the hardest, making the health-related challenges of aging even more difficult and scary to manage.
Carefor’s Feast of Fields is an opportunity to give back and take care of the generation that took care of us. To read more about Carefor and the services it provides, please visit our website.
As the world opens up, we look forward to welcoming you back to something that feels (and tastes) like normal.
We’re excited to see you there!
Watch to Learn about Carefor's Day Programs
This program offers clients with dementia a chance to enjoy activities designed to enhance their well-being in a safe and supportive setting, while providing respite and support for care partners. Information, supportive counseling and referrals to other community services and programs is also available.

Keeping you safe from COVID-19
In light of the changing reality of COVID-19 and to ensure the health and safety of all guests and vendors, we are making a few changes to our protocols to allow for the safest and most relaxed experience at this year's much-anticipated Feast of Fields event.
We require all guests to provide proof of receiving a double COVID-19 vaccination, in the form of either a physical or digital record (the second dose must have been administered a minimum of 14 days prior to the event). Please bring this proof with you to the event.
If you are experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and recover.
We also ask you to wear your masks at the event when not eating or drinking.
We understand some may not appreciate our decision, but our goal is to create an event that ensures the health and safety of all. The past year and a half has been challenging not only for Feast of Fields but for all public events. In an attempt to return to something close to normal we have chosen to follow the best practices outlined by the province, our local health authorities, and those of similar events and festivals being operated in our city this fall and winter.
What you can expect from us:
- Hand washing and sanitization stations and increased health and safety measures.
- Visual reminders to maintain social distance and wear a mask when necessary.
- Extra masks and other Personal Protective Equipment on-site.
For those who are not able to follow our COVID-19 health and safety protocols, we will happily refund their ticket.
