Caring for our communities, Caring for ourselves
Event Information
About this event
Join the York South-Weston community ahead of International Women's Day for a discussion on valuing women's work in the non-profit sector.
The non-profit sector is vital to the health and well being of our communities but often goes unrecognized. Although 80% of the non-profit sector workforce across Canada are women workers, they continue to face inequalities. Women in the non-profit sector are underrepresented in leadership positions, experience a gender wage gap and are often faced with precarious work.
