Event description

Description

Make a plan for your rural property.

Using the Your Guide to Caring for the Credit handbook, learn how to create a personalized Action Plan for your property to help you protect your land and water. Worksheet topics include horse manure management, improving pasture quality, caring for septics and wells and more! Following completion of their Action Plan, participants can schedule a free site visit to discuss environmental projects and funding eligibility through CVC’s Landowner Action Fund and Rural Water Quality Programs. Stewardship projects include well abandonment, stream restoration, tree planting, invasive species control, native plant gardening and much more.

A light lunch will be included.

**Registration deadline Friday October 13, 2017. Registration preference will be given to landowners owning one acre or more of rural property in the Credit River watershed.
