Martensville Carving and woodburning Drop-in at Maple and Bass

Join us for a carving/woodburning get-together Friday mornings starting October 17 from 9am-noon at Maple and Bass! Meet fellow carvers and woodburning artists, work on your own projects, be inspired by what others are working on and share tips and ideas, all in a relaxed setting. No need to register in advance - just drop by when you can! Maple and Bass's classroom tools are available for you to use, so you only need to bring the project(s) you want to work on. You are welcome to bring your own tools if you wish as well. You can also try a new type of tool from Maple and Bass's extensive selection of power carving tools and cutters.

A six dollar fee payable at the door covers tool and classroom use. While no formal instruction is offered, Cam Merkle, owner of Maple and Bass plans to be present for much of the time each session to help and encourage in any way he can. Coffee and tea is on and we would love to have you join us, whether you're just beginning to learn about carving or woodburning, or whether you've been at it for years.
