About this Event

The Conservation Areas Workshop Planning Committee is proud to offer our very first virtual workshop session: Adjusting Operations during a Pandemic. This first webinar of our three-part series will feature the perspectives of four Conservation Authorities, as they adjusted operations during the 2020 park season amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics covered will include:

  • Enforcement (issues and tactics)
  • Signage and communications
  • Managing visitation
  • Health & Safety (H&S) protocols and procedures for visitors and staff
  • Q&A interactive component with our panel of guest speakers

As we cannot be together in person this year, please join our panel of guest Managers and Directors from Credit Valley Conservation, Grand River Conservation Authority, Hamilton Conservation Authority and Conservation Halton as we candidly reflect on the success, challenges, collaborative efforts and lessons learned this year.

NOTE:

A link to join the Teams Live event will be emailed to you two weeks before the event. Don’t forget to register for the other two webinars in our three-part series.
