Event description
Join CBC Calgary for a Federal Election Panel Debate on Oct. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Glenbow Museum.

About this Event

It's been a rough road. Alberta is weathering the economic storm but there are still a lot of serious issues to sort out, deep concerns to address and work to get done. So, as we head to the polls, when it comes to the next Federal government, what do Albertans really want?

Hosted by CBC's Jim Brown, former host of The Calgary Eyeopener and The 180.

Panelists:

  • Peter Tertzakian, economist and executive director of the Arc Energy Research Institute
  • John Santos, Calgary data scientist specializing in polling
  • Max Fawcett, freelance writer and the former editor of Alberta Oil magazine
  • Jen Gerson, Calgary-based columnist and long national political commentator
  • Aritha van Herk, award winning author and historian from the University of Calgary
  • Najib Jutt, political strategist from Statecraft Partners in Edmonton

This is your opportunity to hear first hand and ask them about the pressing issues that matter to Albertans in this election. Reserve your free ticket.
