About this event
CBC Toronto and the Daily Bread Food Bank invite you to Sounds of the Season, the annual fundraiser to support food banks in the Greater Toronto Area. CBC Radio’s Metro Morning is broadcasting live from the Glenn Gould Studio in downtown Toronto on Friday December 2, 2022. This is your chance to celebrate the season with the crew of Metro Morning. See your favourite CBC personalities in action including Ismaila Alfa , Jill Dempsey and Scott Regehr. Join us for an entertaining morning with some of Toronto's most talented musicians including The Strumbellas, Aqyila, Chad Price, TRP.P and some special guest appearances.
Tickets for this event are free and will be released to the public starting on Wednesday November 23rd at 8:00AM EST. Please note, there is a limit of two tickets per order. Ticket holders are guaranteed a seat and the event is general admission. Doors open at 4:30am.
Admission is free but if you can, please donate non-perishable food item(s). The Daily Bread will also be accepting cash and electronic donations.

Sounds of the Season would like to remind people of the recent public health advice in Ontario which strongly recommends the use of face masks for indoor spaces like the Glenn Gould Studio. Please stay home if you are sick or have symptoms. Before attending, please check back for updates as health protocols and guidelines are subject to change.
Can children attend?
Yes, this is an all-ages event. Parents please keep in mind this show is broadcast live from 5:30am-8:30am. We ask that audience members stay for the duration of the show. Please consider this when deciding to bring your children.

What if I reserved tickets but now I can’t make it?
Please cancel your order and your tickets will automatically be released to the next person on the waitlist to enjoy the show.
Can I show up without tickets?
No, this is a ticketed event and there is limited seating. If there are no tickets available, you can join the waitlist. You will be contacted if a spot becomes available.
Where can I park?
There are many parking options in the area. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Front Street has parking and the WSIB building at 200 Front Street are two options.

About Sounds of the Season: Food banks across this city are facing an unprecedented demand. Over the last year, food bank visits have reached 1.99 million visits and need is projected to reach over two million visits by the end of the year. Donations to the Sounds of the Season event will provide emergency food support to those experiencing hunger this winter.
Last year with your generous support, CBC Toronto raised over one million dollars and collected over 63,000 lbs of food in support of GTA food banks. Keep giving and help us raise the bar this year.
