CBU MBA July Residency Program:
Join the CBU MBA Director to learn about the MBA in Community Economic Development, available in-person at the CBU Campus in Sydney Nova Scotia, as well as Weekends Online.
Our unique July Residency Program offers the quality and structure of in-person classes while catering to working professionals who are balancing work, family, and studies.
The July Residency program enables you to take one or two courses in the first 2 weeks of July, as well as one or two courses in the last 2 weeks of July. Courses are also available on Fridays and Saturdays:
- Early July (2-week module): Starts July 4
- Late July (2 -week module): Starts July 18
- Classes are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 12 pm
- Or Monday to Thursday from 1 pm to 5 pm
- Weekend courses are Fridays & Saturdays from 9 am - 5 pm
Since all required MBA courses are offered each and every July, you can pace your program progression according to your individual needs.
If you have a strong academic background, and are able to follow an accelerated timetable of 4-5 courses each July, you can complete your MBA degree in 26-30 months.
Alternatively, you can take the entire MBA program Online on Weekends, 16 weekends per year for about 2 years.
You also have the option of combining the in-person July Residency classes with Weekend Online course deliveries during the Fall and Winter, reducing your July Residency in Sydney to two-week residencies for 3 consecutive July periods.
About our MBA program:
The CBU MBA in Community Economic Development curriculum includes the fundamental business subjects found in traditional MBA programs, with a special focus on applying business and management concepts through the lens of community economic development.
The MBA in Community Economic Development resonates with people working in the public sector, community organizations, social enterprises, and entrepreneurial businesses, attracting learners who want to make a difference in their organizations and communities.
This MBA is also accessible for non-degree applicants who have significant managerial experience, as well as for applicants with non-business degree backgrounds.
