We're gathering on Wednesday Oct 19
And we really hope that you'll join us for our second annual evening of
shared experience and connection.
Last year was such a wonderful evening as more than 80 Citizens' Counselling Centre Alumni came together for the first time as alumni. It was an evening of old friendships, cherished smiles and familiar hugs. The alumni began to arrive before the doors even 'opened' and within minutes the room was in a full buzz. At 10 pm we were still shuffling people along as they vowed to, at the very least, meet again in a year's time. That time is now.
The event is FREE - or by donation, if you feel you have enough to share. We can always use a hand covering costs. Our friends at Caffé Fantastico, Carnivore Meats & More, Market on Yates, Fairway Markets have provided us with yummy tasty bits. There will be a cash bar (beer, wine, coffee and teas), short speeches, and lots of hugs.
No matter what your status is with your hours at the Centre, if you completed the training program (whenever that was), we would love to see you as we all re-connect around our shared experience of the transformative training program at the Centre, and our shared values around all our neighbours having the ability to lead a life with meaning.
Please join us for an evening of re-connection with the Centre, and with each other.*

When & Where
Citizens' Counselling Centre
The Greater Victoria Citizens’ Counselling Centre offers affordable, accessible counselling to adult residents of Greater Victoria. All counselling is offered by volunteer counsellors trained and supervised by the Centre. We have a sliding fee scale based on family income.
We offer individual counselling, couples counselling, and group counselling. Our groups run three times each year (Fall, Winter and Spring) and include self esteem groups, anger management groups, and groups with a focus on stress, anxiety and depression, and our very popular mindfullness CBT group.
The Centre began in 1969 and since then we have worked with over 20,000 people.
