THE BOOKCLUB is led by author Shanna Ratner. She is the founder and principal of Yellow Wood Associates, an American firm specializing in rural economic and community capacity building since 1985. Shanna was selected by the Ford Foundation to conceptualize and support implementation of a new approach to rural economic development that became “WealthWorks” the focus of the book. She was trained in systems thinking as a member of the first class of Donella Meadows Fellows and has been a Mel King Fellow at MIT. She is a graduate of Cornell with an MS degree in Agricultural Economics and has a BA in Value Systems from the New College in Florida. She was a keynote speaker at R2R18 in Blyth, Ontario and lives in rural Vermont.

The CCRC Bookclub will be done virtually with each session running 90 minutes. It will be interactive and happen every 3 weeks starting Wednesday, October 27th at 7pmET. (November 17th @ 7pm and December 8th @ 7pm)
