Join us on March 11 to celebrate the success of Carbon Conversations TO together. Hear stories from fellow Torontonians about their personal climate change journey and get inspired to start or continue your own actions toward tackling climate change.
Our Speakers
Dan Cameron is sharing the path he's taken to reduce his personal emissions, while also participating in political activism.
Kathy Kata is sharing her story of joining the Extinction Rebellion movement in Toronto
Saba Khan is sharing how her culture and faith have been driving factors in her sustainability journey
Stephanie Barraco is sharing her barriers and successes while reducing her travel footprint, as well as the important conversations she has had with friends and family about climate change

6:00pm - 6:30pm Registration and Networking - Representatives from Toronto Environmental Alliance, the Green Neighbours Network and Project Neutral will be joining us throughout the event to share their initiatives and opportunities to get involved.

6:45pm - 7:30pm Climate Action Journeys - Our speakers share their personal climate action stories
7:30pm - 8:00pm Interactive Activity, Self-Reflection & Closing Remarks

Vegetarian hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will be a cash bar with Ontario beer and wine.

Over the last two years Carbon Conversations TO has offered a safe space for people to explore their feelings about climate change and learn about their carbon footprint. To date, 36 people have participated in our flagship 6-week group program and we have connected with over 200 people at events. Learn more here.
