Event Details

Facilitated by two of our Talent Aquisition Specialists at SickKids--the folks who have run hundreds, if not thousands, of interviews at the hospital and Research Institute in their jobs recruiting the best and the brightest to SickKids--the CDC's Interview Skills workshop will help you prepare for an interview, give you the keys to make a good first impression and show you're the right person for the job, and provide you with an opportunity to practice your interview skills.

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand how to prepare for an interview to build your confidence
  • Be familiar with the common interview questions and know how to answer them
  • Know how to make a good impression and effectively present your skills and experience during an interview
  • Recognize that practice/rehearsal answering interview questions will improve your interviewing skills
  • Recognize the common interview traps and know how to avoid them
