Description

In partnership with the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, Glenhyrst is pleased to present Finlaggan, May 4th, 2019, at the Coach House Stage!

Join us for a night of amazing Celtic music in this historic Brantford, Ontario venue. With sold out shows, and rave reviews, this multi-instrumental band performs a mix of original and tradition Celtic tunes that will have your toes tapping.

Finlaggan is a group of seasoned Canadian Celtic musicians who have been entertaining audiences across Canada and around the world.

Born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Nathan Bishop MacDonald is an accomplished singer and songwriter who brings the Celtic tradition of his home to life for audiences across Canada through his music on guitar, bodhran and whistle.

Paul Gribbon is a multi-instrumentalist whose passion for the Uilleann pipes led him to study in County Clare, Ireland. Paul has performed across Canada, including as a guest performer with the Chieftains, the Canadian Celtic Choir, and Rant Maggie Rant.

Devon Martene is a classically-trained musician with a Masters in Music Performance from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He picked up the fiddle at age 5, was winning fiddle competitions by age 12, and released his first solo album at age 16.

Originally from Nova Scotia, via Argyllshire Scotland, Allan Eaton has been piping for more than 40 years in Canada, Great Britain and Europe, including piping for Her Majesty the Queen.

Doors at 6:30pm. Show at 7pm. Light refreshments available. All ages welcome.
