How to get there


Join the Walas family in exploring the Earth Charter and this year’s theme of sowing a culture of peace. This will be a fun evening for you to connect with people working for environmental, social and economic justice as envisioned in the Earth Charter.
Arrive at 5pm to mingle with local change-makers and enjoy live music by Karen Graves & Budge Schachte and art by Christopher Rodrigues and Sacred Light Design Co.
A program at 6:30pm will include:
- Sheryl Rivers, Squamish Nation, Rivers Consulting Solutions
- Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (video welcome from Ottawa)
- Gerben van Straaten, CEO of World of Walas & Author of Earth Charter Cities Manifesto
- Carol Anne Hilton, CEO of Transformation & Senior Advisor to the Federal Finance Minister
