Description

Interested in contributing to online information about Edmonton music while learning how to edit Wikipedia? Join librarians from MacEwan University and the University of Alberta for a Wikipedia edit-a-thon celebrating the music of Edmonton. Admission is free for this short, informal event, and no previous Wikipedia editing experience is required. This event is part of the Canada 150: Music and Belonging Project, and is being held in conjunction with Open Access Week.

Schedule

11am-12pm: Part One: Wikipedia Basics
12pm-1pm: Lunch
1pm-3pm: Part Two: Hands-on editing of Edmonton music articles

Please register by Friday, October 20 and let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
