Learn important lessons about how a Board can help a business grow and how it can help develop founders and/or CEOs as leaders.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR:

Peter Becke

Peter is a private equity investor, and a trusted advisor to CEOs and senior executives. Peter has served on the Boards/Advisory Boards of about 30 corporate, community, university and Not-for-profit organizations. He works closely with the QPI team, and with companies selected for the High-impact Mentorship program.

Jeffrey Doucet

Jeffrey is the CEO of Thrive Career Wellness Platform, a SaaS company that is transforming the way organizations manage outplacement and career transitions. Jeffrey leads a team of passionate colleagues who are focused on building great software to help individuals advance their careers.

Scott Selbie

Scott is the CEO of Theia Markerless Inc (Canada), a recent spin-off company from C-Motion, that is focused on creating the most accurate, and fully mathematically observable, 3D pose estimation of the human body from an array of video cameras without using any sensors or markers on the person. His company has secured orders from large multi-nationals.

Peng-Sang Cau

Peng is the founder of Transformix Engineering Inc. and Vice-President of ATS Automation where she is focusing on emerging markets as well as their revolutionary automation technology, Symphoni™. Peng is a member of the Board of Directors of Kingston Economic Development and she is a motivational public speaker, a recognized thought leader, and a member of numerous boards and advisory committees.

Roger Bowes

Roger is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and business advisor. He is the former CEO of Laser Depth Dynamics (acquired by IPG Photonics) and ESG Solutions (acquired by Spectris plc). He currently serves on the Investment Review Committee for the Southern Ontario Fund for Investment in Innovation (SOFII), is a founding board member of the Southeastern Ontario Angel Network (SOAN) and is on the board of the Kingston regional innovation center (Launch Lab).
