Overview
These tutorial sessions are designed to help students learn how to create and edit professional 2D Drawings, understand the fundamental concepts and workflow of creating 3D models, and presenting design using visualization tools. The tutorial sessions arranged in a progressive learning manner to appeal to both beginners and advanced users. Students immediately apply what they learn from brief theoretical presentations with hands-on exercises via supplied drawing files. These exercises include step-by-step instructions along with clearly illustrated screen captures.
Upon completion of this comprehensive AutoCAD subject, a student will be able to create both a basic and advanced 2D drawing using drawing and editing tools. In addition, they can design, edit and present 3D Models, organize drawing objects on layers, add text and basic dimensions, and prepare drawings in advance for plotting.
A certificate of completion will be issued by Metro College of Technologies at the end of the tutorial series. Interested students may also take a Certified AutoCAD Autodesk exam to utilize the knowledge gained in these tutorial sessions and wreak immediate benefits. Further details will be provided during the sessions.
