Coffee breaks will be provided. Breakfast and lunch are NOT included.

The Essential Skills Series (ESS) consists of four foundational modules. The modules have been designed by the Canadian Evaluation Society to introduce and enhance program evaluation skills and promote the professional practice of evaluation across Canada. There will be opportunities for group exercises and discussion during the modules. Participant workbooks will be provided for each module.

Participants are encouraged to bring along specific examples or case studies relevant to their work in order to apply the learning to real examples.

Facilitator - Shelby Corley

A Credentialed Evaluator with a Master of Arts in Anthropology, Shelby has worked in evaluation, research and project management for the past ten years. She has been involved in projects in several fields within healthcare and community programs. Shelby is a regular facilitator of the Essential Skills Series, an ARECCI Project Ethics Level 1 facilitator, and presents regularly at relevant conferences.

What's the refund policy?

Participants are eligible for a full refund up to 1 week before the first day begins. Once the course has begun, only special circumstances allow for a refund such as a family emergency.

If a non-member requests a refund but has already participated in one module, their membership fee is non-refundable as it is part of the first module cost.
