Description




Jay Onrait, born in Calgary and raised in Athabasca, Alberta. Onrait first joined TSN in 1996 as an editorial assistant while still in school. Onrait joined NHL Network in 2001, serving as host of the network’s flagship show NHL On The Fly as well as Molson That’s Hockey 2. Prior to re-joining TSN in 2017, Onrait and O’Toole co-hosted Fox Sports Live on FS1 (Fox Sports 1) in the United States. A veteran sports broadcaster and on-air personality, Onrait is also the Canadian best-selling author of Anchorboy and Number Two.


Dan O’Toole originally from Peterborough, Ontario, O’Toole graduated from Algonquin College in 1996 with a diploma in broadcasting. O’Toole was paired with Onrait at the SPORTSCENTRE anchor desk, and over the duo’s decade-long run (2003-2013), became known for his humorous take on sports news and highlights, evolving the pair’s broadcasts into a pop culture phenomenon in Canada with a dedicated and passionate viewership. A veteran sports broadcaster and on-air personality, O’Toole hosted SPORTSCENTRE with Onrait live from Trafalgar Square during the London 2012 Olympic Games and hosted SPORTSCENTRE from the International Broadcast Centre during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games alongside Cory Woron. Prior to re-joining TSN in 2017, O’Toole and Onrait co-hosted Fox Sports Live on FS1 (Fox Sports 1) in the United States
