About this Event
In this fun and colorful lesson instructed in French, students will learn how to draw a chameleon which doubles as a color wheel! Learners will be introduced to basic French terms such as colors, animals, shapes and art materials while learning about color theory.
Drawing, writing, reading, watching and listening are all excellent means of absorbing French, and we are excited to use multi-sensory teaching techniques in a single lesson. Let's brush up on our French speaking skills while creating a beautiful chameleon!
French proficiency level - beginner/novice
Required Supplies:
-A piece of paper
-Pencil
-Eraser
-Black pen or marker
-A ruler
-Supplies for colouring, of your choice: coloured pencils, markers, crayons, watercolours, etc

Mirka Loiselle is a Toronto-based artist, educator, and childcare worker. She’s been lucky enough to work with kids in a variety of settings over the years and currently teaches a French & English after-school visual arts program at SkyBlue Studio in Toronto, and works as an arts educator with Playocity and VIBE Arts.
