8 half-day instruction sessions plus two online certification exams.
About this event
Part 1 (Change Management Foundation): Five half-days sessions taking place from 1:00 to 4:30pm EST weekdays from May 30 - June 3, 2022. Each half-day session will be broken down into 1 hr of interactive online instruction (instructor led) followed by a fifteen minute break, another hour of interactive online instruction then another break and then the final hour of instruction. The two breaks plus the interactive discussions, activities, and practice quizzes throughout the sessions will keep things lively and engaging, while giving enough breaks to reduce eye strain.
Following Part 1, participants will be registered to write the proctored online Change Management Foundations exam from APMG. The proctored exam sitting will be on June 7, 2022 starting at 2pm. If participants do not wish to write the exam at this time, they will have 1 week in which to write the short online exam using Proctor U. We will facilitate the scheduling of this makeup time slot. Passing this exam is a pre-requisite for attending Part 2 of the course.
Part 2 (Change Management Practitioner): Following the style of Part 1, this will be three additional half-day sessions at the same times as the sessions in Part 1, scheduled on June 13-15, 2022. Again, these will be interactive online sessions with a live instructor. Following the Part 2 sessions, participants will be registered to write the proctored, online Change Management Practitioner exam from APMG on June 16, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm Eastern time. As before, participants will be able to schedule a makeup exam over the 30 day period following the Part 2 sessions. Those successfully completing the second exam will earn the CMP credential after their names.
For both sessions, participants will receive access to an electronic (PDF) copy of the course workbook that they can review and annotate on their devices or print out and mark up by hand with their notes. They will need a web browser and audio capabilities (including microphone) to participate. Pre-reading of "The Effective Manager's Handbook" is required. The book will be sent to participants upon registration.
