Change - what not-profit organization doesn't experience it on a regular basis? We are used to constant change, but do we manage change? Do we lead change? While change in every organization is inevitable, the success or failure of change often rests not in the "what" of change, but the "how" of change. Join George Vandermey, the former head of HR at the City of Cambridge and current instructor at Conestoga College, for a workshop that will discuss and explore different methods of leading organizations through the change management process. The workshop will touch on issues such as communication, understanding normal reactions to change and dealing with different reactions, and reducing the anxiety of change. If change is a given, then why not embrace it?
