Event description
Paper Covers Rock is a new annual readers and writers festival on Salt Spring Island, BC, taking place March 5-7 2021.

About this Event

What makes a poem? Does a poem require words to convey its message? Chantal will explore the idea of making poetry, merging the writing studio and art studio into an experimental space where writing and drawing combine to represent meaningful, emotional content.

In this workshop you will draft a short piece, transforming words into unique graphic translation through a series of creative drawing and mark-making exercises.

No writing or drawing experience is required.
