Many people want to plan a legacy that reflects their personal values and interests. Often, those donors want to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and in their community through planned giving strategies that are mutually beneficial.

This seminar discusses the tax and legal considerations involved in planned giving and philanthropic estate planning. It will review best practices for handling bequests and other testamentary gifts, including drafting considerations for Wills, and examines recent changes to the tax treatment of charitable gifts, testamentary trusts and estates.
