Event description

Description

The Charlotte County Fall Fair is an event you won't want to miss!

Come and enjoy an entertaining and fun celebration of rural living. The Charlotte County Fall Fair ensures a wide variety of activities appealing to all ages focusing on produce, crafts, vendors and hands on exhibits. Many wonderful community organizations participate in the Charlotte County Fall Fair by sharing, teaching and displaying the skills that have played an important part in the historical and continuing development of Charlotte County.

How many people attend the Charlotte County Fall Fair (CCFF)? In 2018 over 5000 people visited the Fair over the two-day event.

Why does the Fee Structure not include a daily rate? The CCFF is a two-day event. In order to ensure a quality experience for both days, vendors are expected to attend both days. Invitations to participate in 2019 will be given priority to those who attended both Saturday and Sunday in 2018.

What is included in the registration fees? Admission for 4 people and a 10'x10' space.

How much is it for visitors to attend the CCFF? Gate Fees on Saturday &Sunday are $30/car or $8/person. With Saturday admission comes free entry on Sunday!

Do I need to provide my own shelter, tables, chairs, power cords? Yes! The Fall Fair committee does not provide any of the listed items.

Why do non-profits need to pay fees to fund raise? The Fall Fair & Ganong Nature Park are also nonprofits and hosting such a massive event assumes a lot of risk. Your fee helps to offset this risk and provides you with a great opportunity to reach a lot of people.

Where does my Vendor Fee go? Only 3% of the revenue of the Fair comes from vendor fees. Providing the infrastructure to host a successful and fun event costs ten of thousands of dollars. Your vendor fee
contributes to these costs. If there is profit from the CCFF, it goes to a capital fund to improve infrastructure at the park.

How do I know if I am classified as a Food Vendor? As defined by the Department of Health, if you are selling potentially hazardous food for consumption then you are classified as a Food Vendor. How is potentially hazardous defined? With respect to food, means a form or state that is capable of supporting the growth of pathogenic microorganisms or the production of toxins. Examples include meat, meat products, fish, shellfish, seafood, poultry, eggs, cream filled pastries and pies, cut fruit and vegetables.

What is the Kids Passport Program? An interactive game where children collect stamps from various hands on activities through out the Fair. To have your activity included in the passport - you must be registered by Aug 1, 2019.

When is the deadline to register? To be included in the weekend schedule, advertising and the Kids Passport; registration must be received by Aug 1, 2019. Food Vendors must register by Aug 1, so the CCFF Team can complete the proper paperwork for Public Health. Event registration closes Sept 4, 2019.

When do I set up? Between 3 pm and 7 pm on Fri Sept 13, 2019 and on Saturday Sept 14th 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Please note all vehicles must be removed from the Fair grounds by 9:45 am and no vehicles will be allowed entry after this time for safety purposes.

When is take down? 5 pm on Sunday.

PLEASE PRINT YOUR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE GATE.
