ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Online and interactive workshop that will introduce you to the topic of child sexual abuse. Participants will leave more informed about child sexual abuse, equipped with skills to respond, and with an understanding of why positive, supportive responses are so vital.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe what child sexual abuse is
- Identify at least 3 facts about child sexual abuse
- Describe the importance of knowing and using key messages when receiving disclosures
Who should attend this workshop?
This workshop is intended for anyone looking for introductory knowledge regarding child sexual abuse and how to respond to disclosures.
How do I attend the workshop?
This workshop will take place using the conferencing platform Zoom, and the link and password will be sent out in advance of the workshop.
The workshop is interactive. We strongly encourage all individuals accessing the workshop to have a device that enables them to see video, hear audio, and have microphone access.
Are the workshops confidential?
At CCASA confidentiality is of utmost importance. We ask that you do not share the workshop Zoom link with others in order to ensure confidentiality of all other participants.
Can I buy more than 1 ticket?
If more than one person will be attending, we request that each of you have your own ticket, and attend using your own device.
