Join Jenny Tyler, Family Support for Autism Nova Scotia for our March Education Session.
Our guest speakers are Janice Foote and Darlene MacInnis, who work with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development as Early Childhood and Community Development Specialists. Their work involves developing, monitoring, and evaluation of effective policies and approaches in the provision of a coordinated and integrated delivery model for the Early Years Branch programs and services.
What Information will be given?
This information session will outline the structure of the Early Years Branch and review the roles of the Early Childhood and Community Development Specialists and Early Childhood Development Consultants.
An overview of new initiatives and supports will also be provided regarding Nova Scotia's early childhood settings.
The session will wrap up with some information and tips on communicating with child care centres and your child's needs followed by a Question and Answer ending.

Families who have a child who may require extra supports who attend daycare settings, professionals who support families in childcare settings or families who may be looking at childcare settings for their child for the future.
