Event description
A series of animated, award-winning short films about the experiences of Jewish children who were part of the Kindertransport program.

About this Event

Through a series of animated, award-winning short films, you will learn about the experiences of Jewish children who were part of the Kindertransport program. Before the start of the Second World War, approximately 10,000 children escaped Nazi persecution when their parents managed to send them to England, to be cared for by strangers. As a result of the Holocaust, most never saw their parents again. A facilitated discussion with a representation from the Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre accompanies each film. For ages 11 and up.

This Holocaust Education Week program is a drop-in with limited space. School classes will be in attendance.

Groups of 5 and more, please contact the High Park branch at 416-393-7671.
