SCAVENGER HUNT

The scavenger hunt will be geared to observation and discovery of things related to plants and gardening in and around Rockway Gardens. This activity is a great way to spend quality time with your family while discovering beautiful Rockway Gardens, a picture-perfect feature in the heart of our community for over 80 years. Don’t Forget to Bring Your Camera!

The hunt will be from 2-3 pm. The 1 pm time slot was canceled due to low registration.

One ticket per family.

Children and parents will be provided with a choice of scavenger hunt list and crayon:

“Easy Breezy” Pictorial List or “Rockway Scavenger Challenger”.

The hunt will be coordinated and led by Sarah van der Stam

Sarah van der Stam is a Kitchener Master Gardener who is passionate about volunteering and educating the community while putting her creative skills to good use. She loves creating fun and educational activities for children and adults throughout Waterloo Region at various community events. Sarah created fun children activities for a couple Seedy Saturday events. The children loved it because she focuses on activities that appeal to them and the whole family. Her efforts are inclusive of many abilities, lifestyle choices and environmental impact.
