Sculpture/Assemblage workshop

About this Event

Early Bird Discount until June 25th!

This workshop will utilize both art and local ecology to teach children about the nature of the Pacific Northwest through sculpture/assemblage. The morning will consist of creating art to reflect the rich and varied life of the Coast and the afternoon will involve nature walks and discussions to discover the variety of life forms in the area. Each workshop will culminate in an exhibition of the children's work in our gallery, with a reception celebrating their achievements.

Workshop 10-3 each day

  • 10:00-12:30: Art Making
  • 12:30-1:00: Supervised Lunch
  • 1:00-3:00: Ecological Walks and Talks

Cost includes all supplies.

Workshop open for children ages 8-13.

Maximum of 12 students per workshop.
