About this event

The Children’s Voices, Our Choices Event will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous families and children, knowledge keepers, childcare practitioners, advocates, and policy-makers to discuss what cultural safety looks and feels like in an early learning and childcare setting.

Registration is FREE and includes lunch and childminding services!

The day will include the following:

  • Guest speaker Madelaine McCallum as MC, speaker, and dancer
  • Facilitated discussion on cultural safety for Indigenous children and families in childcare
  • Graphic recorder, Sam Bradd.
  • Free Lunch for attendees (and their children)
  • Door prizes!
  • Free Childminding services (Note: Registration for child-minding is closed after September 2nd. Children must be between 18 months to 12 years old for the childminding services.)
