Join Tamara as she discusses Child/Teen Anxiety, the link and importance of sleep and how parents can help. Techniques will be shared on how to speak to an anxious child, how to instill healthy sleep habits to minimize anxiety and other ways to assist your child/teen. You will walk away with the knowledge and steps to support your child moving forward.

Meditation Teacher and Reiki Master Chantal Garneau will also be sharing some effective strategies parents can use to help their children feel more calm and present.For more information about Chantal please visit www.becomingpresent.ca.

Handouts with key information will be provided for take home reference.

This is a 2 -hour seminar from 11am to 1pm which will cover the following:

· The basics of anxiety and why our children/teens feel anxious

· Social media and the impact on mental health and anxiety

· The link between sleep and anxiety

· How to encourage and instill healthy sleep habits for common sleep challenges

· What parents can do to help an anxious child or teen

· Question and Answer Period
