Chin Injeti: The Art of Collaborating

About this Event
This workshop will be the genesis of a song. Chin will provide a piece of music and a concept, and workshop participants will collaborate to write lyrics, put those words to music, and record a song.
You will receive writing credit and shared song rights to the work produced in this workshop. Chin will shop the demo around to his publishers - you never know who might pick it up!
Musical ability is not required for this workshop.

Pranam "Chin" Injeti is a Canadian singer, musician, and music producer. He got his start as a founding member of Juno Award-winning group Bass is Base. In 2008, Injeti began collaborating with multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning producer DJ Khalil.
Chin has written and produced a number of commercially successful records with artists such as Drake, 50 Cent, Aloe Blacc, Anderson Paak, Kanye West, Esthero, and many more.Injeti's work has won 3 Grammy Awards: Best Rap Album for Eminem's “Recovery” and “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”, and Best Gospel Album for Lecrae's “Gravity.”
Workshops are currently limited to only 12 people, and may be adjusted based on public health protocols at the time of the event.
We will be accepting a wait list for this event, as refunds will be accepted in light of potential Covid-19 or travel restrictions.
The venue will be sanitized between and throughout each workshop, and attendees will be provided health and safety instructions in accordance with WorkSafeBC and Provincial Health guidelines in the days prior to the festival.
