About this event
Make your own chocolate Easter Egg cast in dark chocolate! Hand paint your own 15 cm tall Easter egg, cast it in dark chocolate, make your own little bunnies to put inside, put it together, and box it up to take away! Perfect for a fun activity and great for a gift after (or you can just eat it yourself...).
Tempering will be covered in this class. We will provide you with a loaner egg mold and bunny mold, cocoa butter colours to paint your mold, enough dark chocolate to cast your egg and a base, plus a clear acetate box to package and display your egg. We also will have additional truffles and chicks for you to purchase if you would like to include them in your egg.
PPLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE THAT ALL STUDENTS WEAR A MASK DURING OUR CLASS AS STUDENTS ARE IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE FOR UP TO THREE HOURS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR A KITCHEN ENVIRONMENT (no open toed shoes or extreme high heels, please wear a shirt, preferably with sleeves that can be pushed up, hair tied back, aprons welcomed!). This class is 16+. We may relax the age requirement if both a parent and a child 12-15 wish to attend the class as a pair. Please contact us for details. This class is nut free and vegan friendly. We have begun tasting items again in our classes, so please take this into account regarding your COVID-19 comfort level.

REFUND POLICY: We offer refunds on a case by case basis, but only in exigent circumstances. Situations in which we will NOT issue refunds are if you forget that you bought tickets, if you double booked another event, or if you failed to allow enough time for travel or failed to purchase enough tickets for your group and the event is now sold out. Tickets are PER PERSON and unticketed observers are NOT allowed in our classes. Due to cost expenditures, limited space, and difficulty selling cancelled tickets on short notice, we do not offer refunds requested with less than 48 hours notice. Tickets are transferrable to another attendee of your choice at any time, we simply request that you inform us by email of the change and provide the alternative attendee with a copy of your ticket. In instances of illness or emergency, we can, in some circumstances, offer a transfer to another class date, with only one transfer permitted per order. We do not offer refunds on previously transferred tickets.
AGE POLICY: Our classes are generally 16 and over. In limited circumstances we will allow students younger than 16, provided that they are accompanied by an adult guardian. Please contact us before purchasing tickets. We reserve the right to refuse to allow anyone under 16 to attend if prior notice has not been given and no refunds will be issued in these circumstances. Please note that our instructors are not trained nor qualified to teach children under 16.
