Chocolate Tales Workshop at The Mad Bean in Toronto
Our workshop dates at The Mad Bean in Toronto are as follows:
** Please note that vouchers/tickets do not include Tax & Gratuities. We request that you arrive 20 minutes before scheduled start time to check in and settle your Tax & Gratuities balance with the Chocolatiers.
Workshops are approximately 90 minutes long and may vary in length.
Allergy & Policy Information;
At Chocolate Tales we believe that everyone should be able to safely enjoy high quality chocolate!
Therefore we take the following steps to reduce the risk that allergens do not contaminate the chocolate products we use.
1. We never use peanuts, tree nuts, or any products derived from nuts in our classes.
2. We use certified nut-free and peanut free chocolate. This chocolate is certified with qualifications meaning that:
The ingredient suppliers have taken necessary precautions to ensure that their products are nut-free;
The chocolate is made in a nut-free factory;
The chocolate is stored and transported hermetically.
Despite our best efforts, there always remains a small risk that during storage the chocolate could be exposed to products that contain nuts in the manufacturer's warehouse or in the environment where we offer our services. However, because even the smallest risk is not worth taking, we manage the residual risk by:
1. Request if any person has any serious food allergy inform us.
2. Training our staff to recognize the signs of anaphylactic shock.
3. We require every person with a serious food allergy attend our classes equipped with an epinephrine injector.
We can offer sugar free chocolate for diabetics, Gluten and egg sensitive classes.
If you, have any other allergies let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.
To activate expired vouchers a $19 charge will apply for each voucher or ticket purchase.
*Please note that to attend a class you are required to present voucher/s with a valid expiry date.
**The voucher/s must be valid on the day of the class - booking future dates with an expired voucher is subject to a $19 rescheduling fee.
If you need to cancel your appointment please call us at 1800.905.2858 at least 48 hours in advance. Since we turn away other customers to hold your reservation any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice (or no-shows) will result in full charges on your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift certificates). Groups of 3 or more people require 72 hours cancellation notice.
We realize that sometimes a sudden illness (you or a loved one) can prevent you from giving 48 hours cancellation notice (72 hours for groups). In this instance your credit card will be charged only 50% of your total ticket price (or equivalent deduction from a gift certificate). If you have a Groupon, there will be a $19 charge to reschedule your appointment to another day.
