About the Talk
If we wish to lead the happy life we all long for then we need to learn how to transform our mind through following methods of modern Buddhist meditation and positive thinking techniques. At this inspiring event Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will explain some of these methods that free us from negative emotions and make joy and happiness our everday reality.
The talk includes guided meditation, a chance to ask questions and light refreshments. Everyone is welcome!

About the Speaker
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is an Internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada in Toronto and National Spiritual Director of Canada. He is greatly admired for his powerful teachings as well as his pure example of humility and loving-kindness. We are very fortunate to have Gen-la Khyenrab visit Winnipeg.
About the Venue
Kadampa Meditation Centre Winnipeg (KMCW) is located at 839 Ellice Ave, West End in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood. We will be opening in April with a beautiful modern meditation room and bookshop. KMCW is completely new, a gift to the people of Winnipeg and everyone is welcome!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking: There is plenty of street parking available and it’s free after 5:30pm.
Transit: There is a bus stop for the #14 and #71 in front of the building on Ellice Ave.
What can I bring into the event?
You do not need to bring anything special just yourself! Water is allowed in the meditation room, but please do not bring food and other drinks in with you as it can be distracting to others.

What's the refund policy?
If you cancel before the start of the course we will refund only 75% of your payment. Once the course has started, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement in which case you should email us within a month at email@example.com. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations go to the International Temples Project Fund.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, it's helpful or have an electronic version.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes that's fine.
