Chris Sol is your typical Canadian indie-folk singer-songwriter. He works several gigs, has a couple tattoos, struggles with self-doubt, frequents the “Eastern Philosophy” section at bookstores, and generally believes our cultural values and conventional life path are disastrous impediments to true happiness and fulfillment, which corrode and disfigure us from the inside out.

He began to find his groove for songwriting in his early 20’s, exploring the themes at the forefront of his own life: meaning, loss, authenticity and inner freedom. His voice is at once powerful, raw, smooth and haunting, and his live performance will linger with you long after the lights come up. Chris also performs as a solo ambient-instrumental act under the moniker Rorschach, using a loop pedal, guitar and cello."
