REGISTRATION CLOSES TWO DAYS BEFORE THE SERVICE.
The following is a lot of very specific information, but we wanted everyone to have all the details.
The protocols we will be following are:
• 40 people cap on registration (to allow space for staff and Clergy)
• Everyone in the church will be a minimum of 6 feet apart (exemption: households)
• Offering plates will be available in the Narthex
• Service will not include singing (exception: Doxology)
• All attendees will complete the Screening Tool within 24 hours before attending the service. See link above.
BEFORE THE SERVICE:
• Arrive between 9:30–9:55am
• Enter through the main door at the front of the building
• Put on mask before entering the building
• If there is a line to enter the building, please maintain distance
• Approach check-in table at entrance
• Santize hands
• Let the person know your name
• You will be asked for verbal confirmation of completing the Screening Tool and that you are cleared to attend
• Immediately head into the Sanctuary and sit down
• Sit in one of the pews marked #1 (they are marked on the end of the pew)
• Keep six feet between you and the next person beside you (exemption: households)
DURING THE SERVICE:
• Wear mask (this is due to us being a Liturgical church with congregational responses and meeting indoors) Disposable masks will be available. (Exception: 2 years and under)
• Service will be projected on the screen
SHARING THE PEACE:
• Share the Peace with your household and with a smile or wave to everyone else.
COMMUNION (IN ONE-KIND) SPECIFICS:
• There will be two stations on either side of the Sanctuary
• Wait for the Service Assistant / Usher to invite you forward
• Approach the table at the front of the aisle
• Keep distance from those not in your family group
• Sanitize hands (sanitizer will be on the table)
• Approach the Clergy
• Cup hands
• The Priest will administer communion and drop a wafer in your hand.
• Taking the wafer with you, head to your seat by continuing around the pews so that you are entering the opposite side you left from.
• Remove mask
• Eat wafer
• Put mask back on
AFTER THE SERVICE:
• We will exit with the last pew first and working towards the front while maintaining distance.
• The Clergy will go directly outside the main doors to receive you
• Exit our the main door
• Everyone is invited to visit in the church parking lot after the service. We ask that you continue to wear your mask and social distance.
