Description

“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.” - Henry James, The Portrait of a Lady

This year the Oshawa Museum will once again be hosting its annual Christmas teas. They are what are known as a low tea – a light lunch and scones typically held in the lady’s parlour. Along with tea, guests are invited to participate in a guided tour of the museum, which will be decorated for a traditional Victorian Christmas. Entertainment will be provided by Rosalee Peppard, a revered East Coast singer and songwriter.

$15 per person; Children $7.50. Oshawa Historical Society Members $10. Reservations with a Visa or MasterCard are mandatory before a booking can be completed. Please phone 905-436-7624 ext. 106. Visit Eventbrite.ca to book your tickets online.

Wednesday, December 13th and Thursday, December 14th at 11:30 am. Sittings for 1:30 pm will be opened if necessary.
