Event description

Description

Statistics Canada recently revealed that, according to the most recent census, there are now more senior citizens in Canada than there are children. Is the automotive industry aware? Is it reacting? If so, how? A panel of researchers, experts and an access activist will discuss this emerging issue.

Speakers:

Dave Redinger, Host, Dave’s Corner Garage - Moderator

Robyn Robertson, President and CEO, Traffic Injury Research Foundation
Cynthia Skinner, Access Activist
Katie Allanson, Ergonomics Expert, Ford Motor Co.
Jay Donnelly, Head of Strategy, Age of Majority
John Waldie, retired auto dealer
David Onley, 28th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario

The discussion will take place in Room 801 of the South Building, Metro Toronto Convention Centre (222 Bremner Blvd, Toronto, ON M5V 3L9). A map of the showroom is available here.

Parking is available off Lower Simcoe and the south side of Bremmer Blvd.

Please Note: Your ticket includes FREE access to the Canadian International AutoShow. Simply present this ticket upon arrival for access into the show.

FOR ACCESS: Please print and bring this receipt to the AutoShow. A valid ticket is required to gain access to the session room.

Doors will open approximately 30 minutes prior to the session start time. Please arrive early as a select number of walk-in tickets will be issued at the door.
