Event description
Once every month come join the CIC, SAIT, Fuse 33 and Protospace to talk about how to make your own "Hardtech" prototype and startup

About this Event

The Calgary Innovation Coalition (CIC), SAIT, Fuse 33 and Protospace are looking to support "HardTech" (an accumulation of different complex mechanical, electronic, or electrical technologies to form an innovative physical product with capability for exponential growth and market uptake) Startups with their development and testing of their product ideas. "HardTech" startups face different challenges compared to their software counterparts to bring an idea to market. The Make it Lunch Series aims to connect those in the ecosystem that need support with those with experience to share. Join us each month as we cover different topics from market and customer discovery, basic fabrication techniques, design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and more. Every session will have open time for discussion and networking for anyone that either needs support or has support to offer.

February 2nd, 2021 - Product Management for Early Stage Companies.

By Gary Gunthorpe from Deltatee Enterprise Ltd.

This talk is for Startups and existing companies, who want to develop and commercialize a new product, based on hardware, that will be manufactured and distributed to the world’s markets. Anyone who is trying to develop a hardware product will benefit from attending. At the very least, Gary will try to point them to others, in our extensive network, who can help. Deltatee have rescued several failed projects and are willing to provide free advice, please just ask.
