Description

For this month's Edmonton branch meeting we have Paul Leveille, Project Engineer at TerraShift Engineering Ltd, presenting "Remote Sensing and Data Analytics in Mining".

Paul Leveille is a co-founder of TerraShift Engineering Ltd, an engineering and environmental services company specializing in mining and natural resource management. Paul has an MSc. in Mining Engineering with a focus in rock mechanics and geotechnics from the University of Alberta studying the rockbursting phenomena of kimberlite with Dr. Derek Apel. At TerraShift, Paul has developed a method for the analysis of large datasets combined with remote sensing to identify aggregate deposits throughout Alberta and other provinces.
