CIM Saskatoon Potash Night presents...
Mr. Lawrence Berthelet, P.Eng., MBA
Lawrence Berthelet is currently the Director of the K3 project for Mosaic. He has been in the mining, manufacturing and EPCM business for 30 years. Lawrence has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Saskatchewan. He started his career as a Process Engineer with Mosaic in 1986. Following that he worked in Manufacturing to the VP level and came back to mining with Agrium as the manager of mine operations.
Lawrence spent the next 10 years working in the EPCM business managing the engineering on the Allan project for AMEC, and then setting up a mining and metallurgy office for SNC-Lavalin, where he sponsored the Agrium Vault and BHP Jansen projects. Currently, Lawrence is the Director of the K3 project which includes the sinking and lining of two 3500’ shafts, two headframe and hoists, overland conveyors to both K1 and K2, and the development of a production mine capable of delivering 19 million tonnes of raw ore.

The CIM Saskatoon Membership is now due, please renew online. Annual membership dues are $30 (to be paid prior to the first meeting you attend) and a technical meeting fee of $30 will also be charged to cover the cost of the meal; students pay $10 per attendee.
