About this event
Cinderella, forced into a life of household chores by her wickedly cruel stepmother and stepsisters, dreams of a better life. Based on Douglas Carter Beane’s book, Ella (as she is known in this production) opens Prince Topher's eyes to the injustice in the kingdom. The prince's parents have died, leaving the kingdom in the hands of a villainous minister who has been the prince's mentor. When a royal ball is announced, Ella wishes she could attend but knows her stepmother would not allow it. A Fairy Godmother appears and magically grants Ella’s wish. At the ball, she meets the Prince but abruptly leaves at midnight. After an extensive search throughout the kingdom, the Prince and Ella are magically reunited.
This award-winning classic is the 9th production of the Claresholm Arts Society. This particular show is dinner theatre featuring some of the best Prime Rib you have ever had, along with all the fixings.
